John Anthony Moccia was born in San Francisco, raised in the Army and grew up on both coasts as well as Hawaii, Germany, Japan, and Italy. He served in the Federal Probation and Pretrial Service Agency as a senior officer and subsequently as a supervisor and chief. Later he conducted background investigations for various federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies. He is an award-winning screenwriter and wrote for the ShowTime television series STREET TIME. This is his eighth crime novel. He currently resides with his wife in Bend, Oregon.
